                  STATE SWIMMING FINALS

On Tuesday 29th April, I went to MASAC foe my School Swimming Finals. It was a really exiting race. I had to go to lot of other races to get in that final. I was swimming in the 50 mwter freestyle. I was leading at the start but got caught up at the last 25 meters. I came 5th with the time of 34.59 seconds. I was 1.29 seconds off the person who came 1st. The time I got was 1 second faster than my current P.B which stand for personal best.

We were split into groups mine was the five second count down the other one was the swagger stilts and the amazing fried pancakes.

Tabloid sports
On Friday the 23/05/14 we did tabloid sports. We did lots of games like cross ball, bean bag throw, aeroplane throw and lots of other things. My team, the gardeners got 84 points in the aeroplane throw. In my group I had Caitlyn, Helen, Zoe, Tian, Stefan, I and lots of others. I loved tabloid sports.

Teaching the Grade 1s

Today the grade 4 students went to visit grade 1 land. We were able to work with a grade one student to teach them a numeracy game called 'Pineapple chunks'. It was really fun teaching the grade ones how to play the game. It was extra special for some students as they were able to play with their little sisters and brothers.
We hope to visit and continue teaching the grade ones soon.
