National Tree Day

Friday the 25th July was National Tree Day. Due to our very full schedule last week we weren't able to get into the school grounds until today. Today we planted several grasses and wild flower daisies in the eating area. It was great to get outdoors and in the garden. Fingers crossed they grow. 

Melbourne museum

On Thursday the grade 4 students went to they Melbourne Museum to explore Egypt and the Human Body exhibits. 

It was so much fun explore the workings on the body and the mind. The students especially enjoyed looking at the animals which they are currently writing their reports on.

The students seemed to thoroughly enjoy their learning experience and many were exhausted after such a fun day.

Hoop time

This week the 5/6 students and some lucky grade 4s travelled to MSAC to play basketball against other schools in the area. 

We had a fantastic time with each tram playing four games. Each team did a fantastic job at playing and show great sportsmanship. 

A fantastic day had by all.

The grade 3/4 hoop time will follow in a few weeks.

Holiday Recount

My Awesome Holiday (Apollo Bay)

 

On the holidays I went to Apollo bay we quickly packed the car then we locked the house and drove off.

In the car I listen to music while playing on my I Pad. When we got there we un-packed and just relaxed. For dinner we had lasagne it was delicious. Then my mum had to watch master chef. I was kind of tired so I went to bed.

The next day we went to an information centre to see the places we could go. We decided to go to the 9 apostles because three have fallen over.

The view was beautiful. Next we go to a chocolate factory I bought the chocolate called CRUNCHIE it was amazing then we went to a cheese factory that was even better I tasted about 8 cheeses then I decided to buy just 2 so I bought them.

The next day we went to a friend’s holiday house. We went to skate park I pushed a little girl named Lilly May on the swing then I went to skate at the skate park. When we got back us three kids decided to sleep there before we went to sleep we watched frozen. Then we went to sleep.

The next morning it was time to go back to Melbourne in the car I did loom bands while listened to music.

We got back to Melbourne at about 5:30 then we went to my grandmas for dinner she cooked such yummy food. After that I played on my I pad. When we got home I went to sleep.

My fantastic holiday

Well my holiday starts like this. I played MINECRAFT for about an hour and a half then mum interrupted me and then she said off the iPad “squishy” (that is my nickname). We had dinner while watching Master Chef.

Saturday

We had the funniest pyjama day ever. Sienna and I were having a pillow fight, watching movies and lazing around in the beanbags. We were having loads of fun while mum worked all day.

Sunday

We went out shopping at Forest Hill and guess what. Mum tricked us and said that we were going to David Jones but we were really going to RIO 2. It was awesome.

Monday

Well today I played Lego with Sienna, she always gets what she wants or then she will cry or not play.

Last day of holidays

Dad, Sienna and I went to my nanas house we went for a play in her garden.
