Book week

Everyone loves book week. This year was no exception. Well done to everyone who dressed up as a book character. It was fantastic to see so many original ideas. And of course the brilliant little pigs performance.

Human body expo

To finish our body system integrated topic for this term, we had a parent/student expo. All the students had to work with their groups to create a booth and each a 3D model for the expo. All the students worked hard to prepare all the items required and worked tirelessly. I commend all the students on such fantastic work and demonstrating great knowledge and understanding of the topic covered thus term.

Interschool Athletics

On the 2nd of September 4s to 6s went to athletics. We caught the bus there. There were 2 busses. The schools we competed against were St Francis Xavier, Box Hill North, OLGC, Wattle Park, Biralee and us! Kerrimuir came 4th out of 6 schools. OLGC won they deserved it. I think that kerrimuir did so well. Jasmine and Jacob did the championship race, they did well

I did high jump, I made it over 1 meter then I hit the bar. There was lots of cheering for everyone. The hardest event was 1500m, lots of boys and girls got so tired. But they did very well. The events were running, hurdles, high jump, long jump, triple jump discus and shotput.

Bye Amelia S.

Swimming fun

9 days  swimming has been exhausting but so much fun. Having athletics in between was even more fun but hard work.
During swimming we have been learning about rescuing people, how to swim with clothing on, CPR and  practicing our strokes including butterfly.
Luckily the weather has been lovely so we have swam outdoors a lot.
