Sovereign Hill

On the 21st of November 4/5A, 5/6A and 5/6C went to Sovereign Hill because our term topic was the Australian Gold Rush.

We had two buses come pick us up and we had to leave at 8:30am sharp otherwise they would've left without you. The bus trip took 2 hours and everybody was very sleepy, but I couldn't sleep.

The activities we got to do were: panning, going into the shaft mine, learning about life on the goldfields, bowling and so much more. One of the highlights for me was the candy store. I got to see the soldiers marching and they shot out paper bullets. The first one scared the life out of me and the others just trembled me.

The way back from Sovereign Hill took so long because of heavy traffic and an accident and instead of arriving at 5:30pm we arrived at 6:30pm! It was okay though the day at Sovereign Hill was amazing and I would love to go back there again.

Cake raffle

Has he got the Kerrimuir cake raffle award?
Harrison won three cakes yesterday at the cake raffle. That is the most I've seen since being at Kerrimuir. Others say Jamie may still hold the record of 4 cakes but we are happy to say Harrison is the record holder.
A big congratulations Harrison.

Bandana Day

On Thursday 30th October Kerrimuir PS celebrated bandana day which supports children with cancer. The JSC decided to support this great foundation because of Rafael who we all sent birthday cards to earlier on this year.
A huge thank you to all who helped support this fantastic cause.
